One of the other top gossip stories last month in July 2022 during the airing of C-drama Love Like the Galaxy was around male lead Wu Lei‘s (Leo Wu) personal life. Right when LLTG premiered he was doing a live stream where he shared his Weixin (Weibo/WeChat) landing screen and in the brief second he flashed it the top pinned WeChat account showed an icon that C-netizens say is the Weixin picture icon of C-actress Xiang Han Zhi (Julia Xiang). That revived earlier rumors of the two dating that stemmed from them working together in the modern C-drama Our Times in 2020 during filming with the drama airing in 2021. Back then C-netizens were already gossiping that they were dating as they have the same cellphone case, use the same guitar, and wore the same top. His fans denied it saying the cellphone case was a popular common one, the guitar was not the same, and the top was also a popular common one. Wu Lei has never ever responded to any dating rumors, not then and not now, and he’s said in interviews that he will never go public with dating. But with the earlier rumors plus now his phone Weixin has likely Xiang Han Zhi’s account pinned on the top, the juice is definitely getting juicier. Age wise Wu Lei is 22 years old (23 in December) and Xiang Han Zhi just turned 20. The rumors of them dating also point to Guan Xiaotong as the cupid that brought the two together and helped facilitate their onset romance.

i was also convinced the silhouette of his profile picture was her but fans debunked it pretty quickly by showing it’s actually xiao bei, his dog LOL i hope they’re able to date in peace if they are dating, or if they’re not, the dust settles soon. i wonder why he said he’d NEVER go public though. that sounds like a very strong statement from a young one like him. his star is quickly rising so it’s likely he’ll be the subject of many more dating rumors from now on.

That’s why he kept quiet. If not true he will deny it quickly especially when the show is airing halfway. Not a good PR move unless there’s some truth in it, so he is keeping quiet.

(speculation: everyone knows he wanted so much to know if LS eat the barbecue he grilled). Apart from that LS actually made it to the top with a weibo headline about her setting up a stall selling wontons to help divert the rumours. To keep the weibo headline in top 3 needs lots of money and she did it. T-T

This malicious rumors of Wu Lei dating must be stopped because his official fans club in China, which directly worked with Wu Lei studio regarding official announcement and project promotions, already released an official statement denying that rumor. I have the same CP case with Leonardo DiCaprio so is it means we’re dating? It’s soooo crazy to even tolerate this rumor.
