K-drama The Glory is about the comeback revenge of the female lead played by Song Hye Kyo but it could stand in for her own comeback revenge as well, on the critics and netizens who thought she didn’t have it in her (ever or now). I just feel like the entire performance is a quiet scream of “I’m back, bitches!” and I love it. She’s on the cover and pages of the upcoming February 2023 edition of Elle Korea in a fantastic pictorial. It’s cool in the high fashion way but not so edgy it skews into ugly territory. She looks absolutely fabulous and owns all the outfits.

But real challenge was to maintain it and she did for 23 years at top. Now she needs to keep taking gritty scripts. And Netflix success is new definition of hallyu. I hope she and han so hee does that show together. Gonna be amazing

It was only a year ago when I was told about Korean movies. I kinda liked it, and 2 k-dramas later (Crash Landing In You & That Winter The Win Blows, I got hooked!
Since then, I thought Son Ye Jin and Song Hye Kyo are the best among the hundreds of Korean actresses that ever graced Korean films — perhaps even outside of Hallyu!
I’m now watching Encounter, and SJK so far has been excellent! Her eyes are so expressive and when she smiles, oh wow!!
I also like Son Ye Jin very much in almost all the movies she made. My best SYJ so far are CLOY, Summer Scent, Something In The Rain, and April Snow.
