Dilraba Dilmurat Criticized by C-netizens for Her Frequent Gesture of Demurely Covering Her Chest at Events — 21 Comments

  1. Netizens will have problems with the strangest of things !

Also, many times celebs have no say in what they are wearing, they just have to wear what is handed over to them by event sponsors etc.

  2. There’ll always be people disagreeing with the slightest things, you can’t please everyone. If you’ve seen Dilraba on variety shows, she’s always been softspoken, demure, and is an introvert. For all we know, she could have been too used to covering her chest that it became a subconscious habit.

  3. A popular Chinese talk show host bought this up…she made some unpleasant comment about this practise of Dilraba. Well, Dilraba can do what makes her comfortable. She wears clothes from her sponsor, she will participate in PR events, take photos as she is paid to do…if she wants to cover her chest with her hands, so be it.

  4. I know I’ve seen many K-Ent celebrities do this when wearing a gown that exposes their cleavage as well as covering legs with a blanket while sitting if they have short skirts on.

    • Yeah idk what kind of problem those people has. And what’s more sickening is the host who talked about this is woman too. How shameful, woman judging another woman, like she is trying to be the best

  5. Ah, notorious C-fans at it again…I guess they really have nothing better to do. I agree with limiting drama times and strict rules imposed by the Chinese government just because C-fans don’t deserve the celebrities they have.

  7. Idk tho, not fan of dilraba but I gotta say I prefer her doing what she likes. Rather than altering the dresses, she chose compromise by covering it at certain times. Anyway she looks confident in the studio shots for those outifts so I can enjoy her in the beautiful dress. People who nitpick just want to see her b**bs, when clearly she looks just fine.

And also when bending down it’s better to cover up the cheat orherwise you would become subject of sextification like what happened to tian xiwei a while ago.

  8. I’ve seen this! HAHA. I didn’t think anything of it other than her being afraid of the TV catching the inside of her gown when she got up and down from her seat. Ahhhhh, Chinese Netizens….

  9. I wouldn’t call it fake since she is trying to cover her assets, but I do agree that if you’re not confident in wearing outfits with a low cut like that then you shouldn’t wear it because there’s plenty of other dresses that covers it up. That type of cut is more of a sexy look and to show your assets.

    • I agree with you if she had a say on what she puts on. But many times these dresses are sponsored and the actress doesn’t have a say in the choice of clothing. Why should she turn down the dress and offend the sponsors? Better to just hold the dress close so she doesn’t expose herself and offend people.

Can’t satisfy everyone. Those who are fault finding will never be pleased whatever she does, so she may as well please herself.

  10. If you are afraid and not confident then don’t wear them. It makes her look silly. Girl is at the top to be able to make decision when it comes to fashion. Just stop
Pretending or better yet wear fashion that covers.

  11. This habit is so innocuous so of course it would get criticized by Cnetizens cause they’re pathetic and lame like that.

Also just want to say that even tho her beauty is not to my taste, Dilraba wears clothes sooo well! The way she wears outfits and move in them is just stunning

  12. What an utterly stupid thing to criticise her about? These people are pathetic.

Also to me it looks more like a sort of nervous, self-soothing unconscious gesture to me. I doubt she even realises she is doing it most of the time.

  13. This looks more like a symbol/sign/gesture than covering up anything, especially, since she does it all the time. Also, the fingers are splayed…so unless she’s playing peek-a-boo;I am convinced this gesture has nothing to do with modesty. If they’re so curious, someone should point blank ask her but until they do, she can remain mum for all I care ❤
