New K-pop Couple Alert as Hyuna and Yong Jun Hyung Self Announce Dating Relationship
So no one can accuse K-pop star Hyuna of moving on too fast after the end of a long relationship. The songstress dated fellow K-pop-er E’Dawn (or just Dawn now) for 6 years before the couple announced their break up last year in December of 2022. Now to kick off the new year in 2024, Hyuna has debuted a new relationship sharing on SNS that she’s dating Yong Jun Hyung. The posted a picture of the two walking hand in hand on the beach taken from the backside saying “hope you like us”. I think netizens will thumbs down on this relationship based on what I know their feelings are on Yong Jun Hyung but Hyuna is a big girl and can make her own life and love decisions.
Personally I find it refreshing to see celebrities announcing their own relationships. Best of luck to them!
Note: I don’t follow Kpop idols at all, so my comment is general–on first glance I didn’t know these people at all (but on second glance, now I do). I still think everyone should get to pick their own dating partners without it being a public vote, and it’s really nobody’s business but that of the people actually dating. And I think it’s nice when a couple gets to announce themselves instead of being found out by some nosy reporter peeping in their windows. That said, the public is also allowed to have their own opinions on things, which I am pretty sure they will here.
