So Kim Soo Hyun has romanced a few rich/powerful/famous female lead characters in his most popular dramas and it appears he’s adding another one to his onscreen dating history. Kim Ji Won in Queen of Tears absolutely channels Jeon Ji Hyun in You From Another Star, IU in Producer, and Seo Ye Ji in It’s Okay to Not be Okay. Kim Ji Won has played a strong woman romantic lead role in Descendants of the Sun so I know she can rock it by being both bitchy and emotionally vulnerable at the same time. I hope this role in Queen of Tears is fleshed out well because that is the only way to make what seems like a caricature-ish female lead come alive and be endearing.
I will wait to read the comments from members who are watching this drama..then decide if i will start.

I also really hope she’ll be relatable. But considering Song Yi and Cindy are such amazing characters, I have a lot of faith the writer’s ability to get it right.
KJW is really pretty. I’m happy she pick this drama. I get to see her in pretty clothes as a rich girl. She always become a poor girl in other drama. While waiting for this to come out, i’m gonna rewatch Lovestruck in the city again.
lol everyone’s been joking this is like seeing Yoo Rahel all grown up
(I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Kim Jiwon last played a rich girl but she suits that luxurious styling in 2024 as much as she did in 2013)
Why did they edit her last pic with Ksh so much? It does not even look like her.
The outfits look great on her. She’s definitely making a believable chaebol heiress for me.
Her outfits look like they came straight out of Yoon Seri’s closet. They could have styled her differently.
I was just gonna say this. Looks like their stylist’s idea of chaebol fashion comes straight from Yoon Seri’s Balmains and Chanels.
