This drama looks more interesting than I excepted and for that I’m thrilled with the final casting. Modern fantasy thriller mystery C-drama Love on the Turquoise Land has released the first posters and preview a few weeks ago and I’m just getting around to checking it out. Starring Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xing Xu, the drama gives off very moody vibes and shouldn’t have a love in the title lol for once it totally doesn’t fit. Dilraba looks incredible here and total girl boss vibes and Chen Xing Xu is way better cast as the male lead than Chen Zhe Yuan, the latter always seems he’s trying hard to keep looking like a pretty boy while Chen Xing Xu IMO is not handsome at all (to me personally) but has a very manly aura that can be charismatic onscreen.

He is a young not bad looking man with a arrogant and greedy management team… this drama could use a mature good looking man with a wise management team.

Ya…it is the CXXs and the CZYs…all these abbreviation can confused my brain. I have dyslexia..so letters and numbers can confuse my cloudy brains 😅

I think CXX is good looking. Not a typical manga or manhwa good looking but he is can be considered handsome. And both of them CXX and Dilraba look compatible
I’m really looking forward to this drama. It has the same vibes as Parallel World (both novels are from same author), but hopefully it will do much better.

I’ve seen Chinese viewers complain about them too… I hope they keep complaining because these filters are not aesthetically pleasing in any way, but too many dramas use them.
I find CXY very handsome and charismatic. He matches Dilraba. Hopefully this drama is good.
He ultimately won this role for good reasons. He looks good next to Reba.

Even the description is so mysterious. The trailer was so dramatic. I guess the drama will slowly unfurl what exactly that mystery is because even the description is confusing. lol thanks 👍🏻
CXX is hot, manly, charismatic with great stage presence and good acting not the pretty boy type. He is one of the rare breed of C-actors who aren’t worry to look unpretty on screen so we can see all ranges of natural expressions from him. This guy is pure muscle, no stick figure here.
From the trailer and some stills plus some famcam, visually they are great together. I hope the drama will be good.

Looks like Dilraba should do dark thrillers instead of romcoms and period dramas. She does not seem so vacuous in this trailer.
I love the poster with all that greenery. Like a modern version of an ancient Chinese painting of nature subsuming the humans.
I think Ms K hit the nail on the head about CZY being too self conscious about his looks. But I am puzzled why she doesn’t notice this about Dilraba who seems even more so. A self conscious actor is very hard to watch no matter how beautiful.
I feel most of the young chinese actors are this way and apart from their censorship, this also limit them on their acting capacity.

Hey I get a bit of the Lara Croft – Angelina Jolie Vibe from Dilraba in this drama. But she needs to put on some muscle. Looks too thin already. Yeah another drama which is different to look forward to. I like this pairing too. I like CXX in rom com but I think he can do thriller/ action too.

Anyone who thinks Dilraba is a good actress is a delusional fan.
I hope she changes my mind about her acting one day but so far she is being awful actress.
I really can not see the character she is supposed to be playing, I can only see the celebrity that she is trying hard to be somebody else but failing badly at it.
CXX is a good actor and it’s good for his career to work with somebody with Dilraba’s level of fame.
I’m sure his team is well prepared to deal with all the troubles that comes up with working with Dilraba’s fandom and team. His team must already know how Dilraba’s fandom and team works with slandering and backstabbing.

I didn’t mean to bash him . I actually liked him a lot in Hidden Love tho I felt he was just ornamental in later part of the drama- probably because it was a ZL headliner-) Mr Bad and Handsome Siblings. He’s got the looks and talent. He just needs the right projects at the right time.
