C-actress Yang Mi Celebrates Her 38th Birthday and Attends Sign of the Times Gala in Fashion Forward Outfit
Top C-drama actress Yang Mi celebrated her birthday this week on September 12th and many of her industry friends and her huge fandom were there to wish her well. She turned 38 which is putting her in veteran actress category but one can’t stay young forever. It’s wild to me that I remember her at 19 years old and fresh-faced playing Guo Xiang in the 2006 version of Return of the Condor Heroes and basically stealing the show IMO. She was perfect – the looks, the acting, the innocent youth full of conviction and feelings, capturing one of Louis Cha’s most adored supporting female leads across all his novels. To think that is almost two decades ago haha, and I’ve lived through even more decades worth of fresh-faced ingenues like Mi Mi growing up and new ones arriving. Wishing her a happy birthday and a better year for her in terms of getting her drama and movie picking groove back.

The top part looks like a Christmas tree decoration. It would have made a great Christmas event gown lol
Hahaha! I just scrolled back up to look and you are right. Lucky it isn’t green or it would be way too festive.
I don’t usually find her pretty but she looks really nice here. She even makes the weird tinsel-esque top work
Gorgeous! Guo Xiang was the role that made me first notice her too! She was really perfect. She is beautiful for sure but what I love is the way she handles public opinion about her. She has such high EQ, seems quite strong minded and doesn’t live her life chasing public approval.
Tge downside of it is her acting is cringy niw
She always looks pretty to me.I hope she has better luck picking scripts.
