Oh this sounds cute and a great pairing as well! Since there aren’t as many K-dramas being produced anymore I feel like each project needs to have the best casting ever just to keep me interested beyond just the story which frankly these days in any genre is shades of been there done that. A new romance K-drama is in the works titled Shouldn’t Have Kissed and set in the office so think She Would Never Know type story. Ahn Eun Jin is in talks to play a woman pretending to be married with a kid so she can get a job and while the male lead is courting Jang Ki Yong as her successful supervisor who falls for her. It’s a rom-com with lots of hijinks and personal and professional growth elements.
They don’t look good together, IMO – she has an elegance to her but he looks like a school kid even though they’re the same age.
I like the casting and story. Looking forward to it
I hope they don’t make JKY too polished. He looked so much better in Atypical Family with unkempt hair and tshirt/hoodie. Glad Ahn Eun-jin can do a rom-com FL!

I just hope there will be chemistry because at the end of the day I usually drop Kdramas I start in recent years cause script is usually disappointing in second half of drama…
I know it’s a romcom but the plot sounds soooo cliche like I can already guess everything that’s going to happen in the plot, the archetypes of the FL and ML, the plucky cute kid she will obtain from somewhere to maintain the lie until she is exposed. I can’t warm up to Jang ki Yong as an actor and I can’t see them having much chemistry. It feels like a step down for AJE after she acted opposite Nam Goong Min too.
I love Ahn Eun Jin. Her chemistry with everyone is always so good
I dunno but it feels like a step back for AEJ after My Dearest and then as a 2nd lead in a KES drama? She was a big contender for this year’s Baeksang Best Actress while JKY still struggles in his day job and has the charisma of a roadside log. Choosing to do a rather predictable office drama with him (if she accepts) feels like taking a coordinator role after in contention for a Sr Manager promotion. Basically I hope she doesn’t do it.
Same thoughts
Why won’t they give bad boy-type of roles for JKY? I thought he was decent in My Mister. In my opinion, that type of role suits him. And I agree with the comment above, it’s most likely a stepback for AEJ, unless the script is surprisingly good lol
Jang ki yong is good in his roles and no need yo say about Ahn Eun Jin.
This drama comes from One Dollar lawyer PD and Mystic Pop Up Bar writer. All are good
