Tencent Releases Long Trailer and Confirms December 28th Release of Guardians of the Dafeng with Dylan Wang and Tian Xi Wei
It’s confirmed! Tencent is giving C-drama fans a year end treat with the release of Guardians of the Dafeng on December 28th, as rumored. Starring Dylan Wang and Tian Xi Wei, the latest drama posters and long preview makes this drama look schizophrenic, in that the characters and storyline veers back-and-forth between wildly comedic and intensely dramatic. Plus there appears to be an unexpected fantasy/xianxia element with Dylan’s character’s fighting ability that feels like it came out of nowhere. But then again this is all so oddball tonally that I’m actually more excited to check it out to see what the heck is going on. Watch the trailer for yourself and see if it intrigues or turns you off.

Looks very marvel like. I saw why when Disney+ popped up at the end. LOL. I don’t like the FL that much but think Dylan Wang has potential. I’ll check it out.
