• Maybe Chen du ling side profile is ok but not for her full profile. Whether JJY has surgery or not and whether she can act well or not, I still like her overall looks compared to CDL.

  Ju Jing Yi looks very pretty and I really wanna see her step up… from all her innocent next door girl and goody goody roles to something else.

  Anyway I am still not sure whether she is playing the vixen or a noble lady?

• I tried watching Fangs of Fortune with a open mind...but it is just not for me. I even fast forward the drama, I still did not enjoy it at all. I really dont think Gou Jingming's dramas suits me at all.

  • @HL I agree with you. I haven't enjoyed a single one of his works except The Yin Yang Master, which actually casted good actors as well. His dramas have been all form over substance. Just very expensive cameras filming a bunch of pretty people (many with limited acting ability), speaking painfully slow, staring at each other for too long, trying to act/sound smart but just come off as suspicious. Pretentious. I think there are interesting story concepts from him, but often his dramas are better as films because there's just not a lot of story to tell.

  • I tried watching My Journey to You and Fangs of Fortune, and i couldnt get through either of them. FOF was a bit harder to get through even. I wont be bothering with his projects either no matter how many of my young fav actresses get casted by him again...

• Ju jingyi is over-rated and no successful drama yet...Chen duling better acting but need more luck

  • Ju Jingyi is not overrated..her osts are popular and often used in chinese intertainment as bgm

    • JJY is overrated and can't save a show with her acting even in her next love.Id singing is her strong suit, she should quit the acting and focus more on the singing, which frankly isn't even better than her acting, if you know anything about music, you can hear the producers doing actual work to.make her sound good.

• I think JJY is prettier in the general sense, but CDL has more presence and commands more attention in the pictures from Weibo. CDL is giving off more strong demonness vibes. Maybe that's their respective roles though. I don't know who's playing what characters.

• Omg…2 mediocre actresses in one drama. As if one is not bad enough - gotta double down 😂. Have a feeling it’s gonna be another flop.
