Casting Rumor for S+ Budget Republic Era Spy C-drama has Zhang Ruo Yun and Wang Yibo in Talks as Dual Male Leads
As far as C-drama casting rumors go this one is a big melon, and like all melons it’s probably true the offer and courting is happening but long away from getting confirmed. This week C-ent is talking about a big budget S+ high profile C-drama that is finally ramping up casting to start production soon, it’s called 千里江山图 (Thousand Miles Landscape Map or Qian Li Jiang Shan Tu) and is set in the Republic era of near modern Chinese history and is a spy thriller. It’s a dual male lead story and the production is in talks with Zhang Ruo Nan and Wang Yibo for the two leads. This would be a huge casting get if it does happen and I for one do think Wang Yibo needs to occasionally do a C-drama rather than stick with movies only just to stay relevant in both arenas but then this drama may sound too similar to his last drama War of Faith so not sure it make sense for him to take it.

He can and will join when he picks the right project that suits him. He always chooses carefully that’s why he has no flops on the contrary to some others lol
Wang Yibo last joined filming crew almost 3 years ago. He cannot choose projects because he doesn’t have that capability to do so. All his projects were spoon fed to him. Even his endorsements are closely related to his agency mother company. All his ‘movies’ were declared officially as unprofitable and flopped by OFFICIAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FROM THE MOVIE INVESTORS
that his fans cannot accept and instead hanging on announcements via wechat moments. Also this ‘melon’ was from Wang Yibo camp to appease his remaining fans that he got something going on soon but most likely just like his company made melons, the company behind this project will once again deny any association to Wang Yibo

This melon was made up by a certain fandom that hates both ZRY and WYB just to cover up for the fact that Wang Kai’s fanclub publicly denied participating in their fave’s rumored project as supporting role. They like to force feed artists they hate with fake cakes and claim they got rejected later while their own fandom licks many cakes every day and none comes true… Please, let those actors pick for themselves instead of using others as a smokescreen for your own issues.
