Baek Jin Hee Joins Time Travel Legal K-drama Judge Lee Han Young with Leads Ji Sung and Won Jin Ah
Now this is a name I haven’t heard in awhile. K-actress Baek Jin Hee is reportedly going to star as the second female lead in the upcoming legal plus time travel themed K-drama Judge Lee Han Young. The leads were earlier announced as Ji Sung and Won Jin Ah already. Baek Jin Hee’s last drama was in 2023 as a weekender and her career feels like a parabola, where she got big thanks to a weekender and then was a prime time female lead for a series of dramas before going back to the weekend world. Won Jin Ah is also an established female lead of the same generation so Baek Jin Hee playing second fiddle at least it’s not to some idol actress. The story is about a top judge falsely accused of murder who travels back in time 20 years and tries to change his future.
Good cast… Ji Sung in time travel theme. interesting.
Haven’t seen her in a long time. I’m glad for her. Even though, it’s SFL.
If I think of her, I remember her performance in Empress Ki. Loved to hate her there. Lol Maybe it’ll be the same here
Sorry but I can’t recognize her now, she looks so different from her Empress Ki’s days…
Baek Jin Hee? She looks the same to me as when she was in the weekender with Park Seo Jun longgggggg ago. I shipped them so hard lol
Must be the costume and headgear. She looks the same to me too without it.
She was fantastic as one of the main antagonists in Empress Ki, I don’t know how her career didn’t fly off after that.
Her best-performing projects were weekenders (My Daughter Geum Sa-wol is the MBC weekend special with the highest recorded ratings ever and The Real Thing Has Come is the last KBS2 weekend soap with average ratings above 20%). She carved a niche in the home drama world, but those are nearly extinct now, hence the lack of projects.
Oh. That’s why.
I wondered where Baek Jin Hee went. I’m glad to see that she’s acting in another drama. With Ji Sung as a co-star, she can’t lose.
