C-actress Zhang Jing Yi Reportedly Cast as Female Lead in High Profile Xianxia C-drama A Beautiful Destiny
So this is the C-drama that last week was rumored to possibly be considering Zhao Lu Si until it ran into her working with the director of the unfinished drama Almost Lover. The English title is A Beautiful Destiny and the Chinese title is 月都花落 Yue Du Hua Luo adapted from the novel 月都花落，沧海花开 Yue Du Hua Luo, Cang Hai Hua Kai and this week it’s reportedly signed up Zhang Jing Yi as the female lead. She will be finishing up the currently filming modern C-drama Wild Dog Bones with Song Wei Long and heading directly into filming A Beautiful Destiny. If this happens it will be her first xianxia role. The male lead for A Beautiful Destiny remains unconfirmed.
The same actress from Blodsoms in Adversity? I like her. She’s pretty, in a very natural way and I think she can act and speaks her lines well. Is this the one rumoured with zhang linghe? All the better.
I agree—refreshingly pretty, natural acting and expressive eyes, great chemistry with all her male co-leads.
Pairing with ZLH? I’ll be interested to watch. Agreed she is one of the actors with better lines. I also think her acting pretty natural. She seemed very comfortable with any roles thrown to her. Her visuals aren’t my favorite. But her aura is appealing to me.
