Latest Casting Melon has Dylan Wang and Song Zu Er for Tencent Period Drama Ah Zhi Ah Zhi
There’s a very fun casting melon that came up this week and I for one would love to see this pairing. Song Zu Er has been in talks for the Tencent Republic era period C-drama Ah Zhi Ah Zhi adapted from the same name novel and now the platform wants Dylan Wang as the male lead. If he joins the billing will change to male lead top billed but that makes sense. Both have strong fandoms and lots of buzz so this is one of those great for the platform to drum up interest type of castings. This is a multiple lifetimes story with betrayal, death, rebirth, ghosts, and lots and lots of longing and regret.
Not my favourite period but I will watch both leads… just watch and see if this really happens.
I like this casting melon but not the era period too. But I can watch it if the drama turns out to be like Wu Xin: The Monster Killer.

The only republican era dramas that i’ve finished are Arsenal Military and Siege in Fog.
I hope it’s not the ‘espionage’ genre.

I dont care what type of period so long that Song ZUer is there, I will watch it. girlie deserves all the support after what she have been through
Same! I’d watch anything that Song Zuer is in, nothing but love for her after what she endured the past 2 years. Im glad she was able to come back. She’s always consistently good in her dramas.
