Suzy the Sociopath Battles Kim Woo Bin the Devil Genie in First Teaser for Netflix Drama Genie, Make a Wish
This looks so ridiculous and absurd but coming from Kim Eun Seok I feel like there has to be more than what I’m seeing. Because what I’m seeing from the set up in the newly released teaser for Genie, Make a Wish is just…..bad lol. But then again, everyone thought Secret Garden and the soul swap would be a hot mess and it worked marvelously, so I will still keep the faith until I watch the drama. Kim Woo Bin plays a Genie who is deemed the evil-ist of all them Genies, Satan if you will, and by a stroke of drama coincidence magic a sociopathic (as described) Korean actress played by Suzy rubs his lamp and he has to grant her three wishes. Except she kinda has none cuz she seems dead inside if you will. So until she does her three wishes he’s stuck with her and the whole thing is clearly a hate each other to love each other set up. At least Suzy and Kim Woo Bin still have chemistry with each other lol.

This looks fun! The kind of ridiculous vibes that korean comedy movie has (like Extreme Job for an example). I’m really hoping all these cheesy promo and posters are intended. We’re in for a hoot!
It seems fun per synopsis alone. I’ll definitely tune in.
