Xianxia C-drama Whispers of Fate with Luo Yun Xi Rumored to Broadcast End of October 2025 — 17 Comments

  1. Someone can force him to eat please. Every time i see him on screen, it’s so uncomfortable that i can’t keep watching. He doesn’t look one bit masculin. He looks like he’s going to break in half at the slightest movement. I guess being skin and bones meets standard in China but too exaggerated for him.

      • So he is still a ballet dancer? That’s very impressive, as I heard most professional dancers don’t last past their 20s in this career due to injuries. What ballet company is LYX affiliated with?

      • Im sorry but its ignorance in your part. Ballet dancers male or female arent thin on ED level. Their whole body esp legs and torso even arms are full of muscles even if they look neat. They dont look like they might break or fall when a strong wind rise…

      • I used to watch ballet performances a lot since my sis took lessons and was good at it. Nope! Ballet dances have to be slim but they don’t look scrawny.

    • Yup especailly in these last years even if his fan base try to make believe he got better in weight wise but nope…its very obvious ED case.

  2. I’m watching too many things already, but the trailer looked more interesting than I expected and what a stacked supporting cast! I like how it doesn’t look romance-focused and the black fade into white hair looks good on LYX. Just wish the english title wasn’t Whispers of Fate, which makes it sound like one of those mini-length dramas.

  3. His role seems too similar to TTEOTM, and I’m not in the mood for dramas with too much heart-wrenching going on. So it’s a skip unless reviews are extremely good.

  4. They all look so beautiful but the trailer seems like this might be a tragedy and my heart can’t take so much angst right now. 🙃 Hope it works out for the cast though.

  5. His fans are flooding Chinese socials with his “amazing” edits and I keep laughing. The guy is not even 170cm and 50 kilos with those robe and he is being sold as a masculine hunk. Please stop.

  6. Skinny or not, why do you care. If you don’t like, don’t watch. I personally won’t watch but not because of bodyshaming Luo Yunxi bit because this looks like the kind of drama I avoid, overly dramatic and colour-infested.

  7. Since it’s a Xianxia drama, I can let his thin and slender frame slide. But if he played a general in a historical drama with that body, it would honestly be hard to take seriously, especially since I’ve been pretty picky lately whenever I see thin, delicate looking actors trying to play generals.
