Ju Jing Yi Confirmed for Female-led Fantasy Revenge Period C-drama Wan Hua Shi Jie
The early production phase of this drama got a lot of attention because of the grand scope of the story requiring a huge cast. The C-drama Wan Hua Shi Jie (万花世界 or Hundred Flower World) adapted from the manhua Wan Hua Cao Huang has now been confirmed by iQiyi to star Ju Jing Yi as the female lead. Expect it to be A budget drama but would have been an S+ budget initially when the female lead was in discussions with Dilraba Dilmurat, and also needed the budget to land at least four if not six big name male leads to play the cheating assholes that get revenged upon by the female lead. The names bandied about then all sounded great if it could come to fruition but seemed highly unlikely. Now with Ju Jing Yi, the production can cast relative unknowns to lesser famous male leads and the story also works better since all the dudes are playing men who have wrong women and get the comeuppance when the female lead arrives to take revenge for all the ladies.
I wish ju jingyi would just stick to singing and performance. She’s really a terrible actor.
Whether she wants to act or sing, that’s her right and all decisions are hers. On what basis do you have the right to control someone else’s life, especially an actress who has long working hours like Ju Jingyi?? LOL people like you have no other job than talking bad about someone. I’m sure behind your back you also do the same thing to other celebrities.

I’m more curious about if we’re gonna see her head accessory of dangling beads again. LOL. I’m indifferent to her acting though. I recall that she had some cute chemistry with Zhang Zhehan in Legend of Yunxi.
That is the only drama I enjoyed with her and him..
It actually suits her because she’s not that good in romance and her image is more of “strong independent woman”. Maybe this would be her breakout role. I don’t like her as an actress but she does seem to be a good role model as an idol.
