Kim Sun Ho and Go Yoon Jung Embark on a Love Story of Actress and Translator in New Stills for Netflix K-drama Can This Love be Translated
I’m so glad this drama is on Netflix, or even cable would be okay. As long as its not on terrestrial television in South Korea at least I can tune out the howls of outrage from any K-netizen that wants to protest less than perfect Kim Sun Ho back on the small screen. With Netflix airing Can This Love be Translated starring him and Go Yoon Jung, one has to actually log onto the platform and click play to watch him, so there can be no complaints that he’s being put in front of any viewer. Netflix hasn’t aired a sweet and straightforward romance K-drama in awhile and I am also looking forward to the return of the Hong Sisters in their first Netflix only project. While the Sisters often fail to land the ending, I’m almost always entertained at the outset with their dramas enough to make the watch worthwhile and hope for the same here at a minimum and at most it’s going to be satisfying the whole way through. The latest batch of drama stills released by Netflix continue to pique my interest and I just wish there were more pictures of the two in the same frame.
I had no idea this was a Hong sisters drama. I thought they were only working on that hotel drama with Lee Do Hyun. What a lovely surprise. Now I’m hyped!
Idc what others say, I’ve been hyped for this drama since they started filming!!! Kim go yoo jung has been one of my fave actresses’ since Alchemy of souls, so looking forward to one of her few dramas where she is the MFL-main female lead.
I’m sure this will become top 1 on Netflix for international audiences but I’m not sure for their domestics. So many people that has controversy in this one drama alone. From the scriptwriters to male lead and 2nd male lead.
lol if r*pists Park Shi Hoo and Lee Jin Hyuk can still have hit dramas, then I don’t see why koreans will have a hard time accepting KSH again when he didn’t really harm anyone (in a legal sense). IDK who the other people with controversies you’re referring to, but if they’re not major crimes (especially bullying and drugs), then I doubt their controversies will significantly impact the drama
Hong sisters are not what they used to be. I have not been impressed with GYJ yet. The preview is boring. Will check this one if the reviews turn out to be good.
