Shin Mina and Lee Jin Wook in Talks for Romance K-drama Wed/Thurs/Fri
So I give stars ample opportunity to change my mind about him or her but in the case of Lee Jin Wook it’s been over twenty years and a dozen K-dramas and still this actor does nothing for me. There are other stars I’ve loved in K-dramas who have stopped acting and/or left the industry and it’s just weird he’s still around and still getting male lead roles lol. Anyhoo, his name is being floated alongside Shin Mina as the leads in an upcoming romance K-drama tentatively titled Wed/Thurs/Fri or Wed-Thurs-Fri, the short form way to refer to those days of the week. It revolves around a restaurant that’s only open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and the male lead is a chef and the female lead is closely connected to the restaurant. It’s from the screenwriter of The World of the Married and the PD of Hot Stove League. If Shin Mina accepts this will be her first project since getting married last month to longtime boyfriend Kim Woo Bin.

What a title. So will there be adultery? lol thatβs what I assume when itβs connected to the world of the married or makjang, and rediculous characters you want the white truck of doom to take out. They both have such interesting faces that I could see them together in drama.
This guy must have really strong connections to keep receiving scripts, despite his past scandal and being an absolutely bland actor. Not surprising, considering he’s with BH Entertainment, which is a powerful agency that takes really good care of their talents. Oh well. Yet another drama I will be skipping.
I am looking forward to Minah’s new drama with JJH though.
Rightt, Iβm honestly surprised, I only even saw him in shin hyesun drama. I thought he would at least be decent, but nah that scene when he realize shin hyesun actually has dissociative personality was done so bad, he just bulged his eyes and it looks so unnatural
Are you serious? Have you watched such dramas as Sweet home 1-3,Beyond the Bar,Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, the Voice 2, Squid Game 2,3? He is popular with both young girls in Tiktok and in Korea. Look at the retings of Esquire. Also, his scandal is completely fake – the woman admitted that she had slandered him, but the experts found no traces of violence. She invited him home herself, and in the morning, after everything, she sent him a nice message, and when he didn’t answer her, she went and filed a police report against him.
SHIN MIN-AH NOOOOO! RUN FAR FAR AWAY PLEASE. (Because I highly doubt the guy gets to be picky.)
Free Shin Min ah
She’s a grown up who co-owns her agency with her husband. If she is entertaining the possibility of doing this drama with a red flag man, that’s on her.
Neither lead has done anything for me the past years. lol.
Same people talk about him and well I cant stand him.. she has never been good at anything ive seen her in. So boring in hometown and spoiled tomorrow with you for me.
ughhh wasnt there another guy to cast… After that kdrama news with Son Ye Jin and with that guy and now this :/ tasteless casting directors.
What’s Ji Chang Wook do now? Or is there another problematic guy that’s been cast in Son Ye Jin’s upcoming drama?
This bland-ass πist continues to get so many lead roles, meanwhile actually handsome AND talented actors like Yoo Seung Ho and Seo Kang Joon can’t even get a good drama offer π
I guess that’s the power of having a powerful agency behind you lol
I agree – it does feel weird how regular he pops up in kdramas when others have either stepped away or scaled back. Beyond the Bar did well, so I guess he won’t be going away any time soon.
The screenwriter and PD are names that would be hard to turn down.
He has the presence of a wet tissue on screen. Ugh.
