Lee Jun Ki in Taiwan Filming New Project with TW-actress Alice Ko and J-actor Sakaguchi Kentaro — 9 Comments

  1. Can’t K-producer picked another J-actor that truly can act. Is not like they can’t afford to pay them and there’s a few good looking J-actors that well known for top acting skill and actually even well known name in Korea too.

  2. Sakaguchi Kentaro has already been in a couple of dramas prominently featuring Korean actresses, What Comes After Love and another from way back – Soshite Ikeru. Nikaido Fumi, a very well respected actress, did one – Eye Love You, with Chae Jong Hyeop, a year or so ago. Also, the very recent Romantics Anonymous had the brilliant Oguri Shun alongside Han Hyo Joo.

There have probably been more, looks like it’s going to increase in the future.

I remember enjoying a movie from way back with Yamazaki Kento in which a Korean exchange student taught a shy young Japanese wannabe couple the ‘Korean way’ of wooing/dating. It was fun watching the supposed cross cultural differences.

    • Yeah Won Bin was in a Korean-Japanese collab drama called Friends years ago and I believe TOP was in one with Ueno Juri. I remember Jaejoong being in one too. I loved What Comes After Love and if future ones are well done, hopefully many more are on the way.

  3. This j-actor is ok but what shocks me is how he is involved more internationally than on his home front. I liked his acting in Doctor Chocolate. It was a ridiculous plot and story but still a good watch. But out of all j-actors he was the last one I would have thought to do projects like this. It’s good for his acting resume though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. Wow, Alice Ko and Lee Jun Ki, I like them both but it’s like two parallel universes of like suddenly colided! I’m curious!

  5. I’ll check whatever LJK is in. Not necessarily would I like them all, but I’ll check it out anyway. His acting has been quite persistently good regardless of whether the script is good or not.
