This drama Boyfriend on Demand looks so silly but could be fun if done in a tongue-and-cheek way. But I fear female lead Jisoo, doing the heavy lifting from her role, will get slammed yet again for her acting and diction. This drama stars Jisoo as a young man finding a lack of romance in real life that tries out a VR world where she can pick any boyfriend and tries out a veritable male harem’s worth of different looks and identities. The drama’s male lead is Seo In Guk as the real world colleague of hers but in the VR world the on demand boyfriends are playing by many male lead level actors in guest starring roles including Seo Kang Joon, Lee Soo Hyuk, Lee Hyun Wook, Lee Jae Wook, Kim Sung Cheol, Ong Seong Woo, and Kim Young Dae.
