The fashion pretties gathered this weekend in Taipei at the Christian Dior Flagship Store event at the Breeze Center, a who’s who of Taiwanese stars plug one very chic K-actess Gong Hyo Jin. Last week Yoona was at the Dior event in Hong Kong so clearly the brand is deploying beautiful Korean stars around Asia as further show of the … Continue reading →
Almost two months to the day she gave birth to her firstborn, TW-actress Ruby Lin made her entertainment industry return from maternity absolutely glowing and resplendent in white. Ruby attended a skincare brand event beautifully attired in a white and gold leaf adorned gown with a faux wrap dress middle and a thigh high slit. She’s clearly lost all her … Continue reading →
I feel like Yook Sung Jae has a great agency behind him providing very sage career advice, either that or he’s just a very smart young man who is blending his potential with good decisions. His last performance was a supporting role in the drama Goblin, a fantastic decision on his part to do as something exceptionally memorable trumps doing … Continue reading →
All black was the sartorial outfit choice of Lee Dong Wook‘s Grim Reaper when he was on the job in Goblin, providing plenty of chances to mock his attire especially the very frumpy black hat. But truth be told he looked incredibly fine in the funereal black suit just because he’s Lee Dong Wook, and in the upcoming edition of … Continue reading →
It’s not often that I’m taken aback by entertainment offerings but color me happily surprised by the latest Allure Korea beauty pictorial featuring not an actress or idol starlet but instead male idol-singer Jo Kwon. He’s someone who has never shied away from his androgynous beauty and performs with confidence on stage even when doing musicals like Priscilla, Queen of … Continue reading →
K-actor Seo In Guk may be saying farewell for the next two year soon, as K-ent is reporting that his scheduled military enlistment date is March 28th. His agency responded that the date isn’t set yet but he is for sure enlisting this year so fans still need to ready for his departure soon. I became a fan after his … Continue reading →
It’s a match made in high fashion heaven for W Korea magazine to bring together top Korea stars and real life close friends Yoo Ah In and Song Hye Kyo for a pictorial. Both are at the top of their game and peak popularity, and one of the few very public guy-girl platonic friendships in K-ent. Yoo Ah In just … Continue reading →
Leave it to the eternally style forward Gong Hyo Jin to once again surprise me in a way that straddles the line being impressed and confused. She did the SBS drama Incarnation of Jealousy last year in 2016 and is starting off 2017 with the upcoming movie A Single Rider costarring Lee Byung Hun and Sohee. The K-box office has … Continue reading →
When I crack jokes about someone being so insanely beautiful she would look pretty in a potato sack, I never thought a brand pictorial would actually give that a shot. A new shoe brand CF featuring effortless beauty Jeon Ji Hyun decided to focus on the shoes by putting her in the denim dress equivalent of a ruck sack, and … Continue reading →
It’s was pretty startling to see how high actress Kim Yoo Jung’s star rose late last year thanks to the runaway success of Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and then how quickly it plummet in a fiery blaze due to what netizens perceived as rude behavior during movie promotions. She ended up skipping all the year end awards and even was … Continue reading →
The fun that was the Chanel couture show in Paris this past week didn’t just see the presence of top K-stars like Park Shin Hye and G-Dragon, there were also Chinese stars there to showcase their eclectic style. Singer-actor Vanness Wu posted snaps to his SNS alongside trendsetter G-Dragon and top Chinese model Liu Wen, with everyone rocking their own … Continue reading →
Aside from the interminable but still happy holidays, early winter brings to mind for me a reckoning, not a negative endeavor but a moment to assess the highs and lows of the year about the pass. For an entertainer the success and failures can be quantified with ratings, box office, or sales receipts, but as an audience member there’s an … Continue reading →
It’s a bit of an unfortunate coincidence to have three instances of fashion heresy on the same week, and in this case one offender did it twice with two different fugly outfits. Lots of premieres are coming in dramas and movies which affords fans the opportunity to see oppa and unni doing press conferences, and also the opportunity to see … Continue reading →
