This week was the Baidu Fei Dian Awards in Beijing and in attendance was yet another huge collection of actors and actresses from not just China but all over Asia. One of the most anticipated appearances was of the newly minted couple of Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi. They did not disappoint fans with their joint appearance at the … Continue reading →
I thought episode 5 of Prime Minister and I was a tiny bit of a slow patch but wowsers did episode 6 get right back to business and deliver all sorts of feelings and narrative reveals left and right. The romance isn’t anywhere near floating to the surface yet but that strange new family Yul and Da Jung have created … Continue reading →
The holiday season is fast approaching like a freight train and with it comes holiday cheer and hopefully more charitable givings. Elle Korea has assembled a huge group of actors, actresses, and idols for it’s annual “Share Happiness” charity photo campaign. The ginormous list of participating stars include: Jung Kyung Ho, Lee Jin Wook, Daniel Henney, Lee Bo Young, Han … Continue reading →
SETTV is a bunch of evil mean trolls because the video preview at the end of In A Good Way episode 6 for episode 7 was such weaksauce compared to the one that just came out today. Holy moly I can’t wait for what’s coming! A game of truth or dare? Jia En and Liu Chuan having skinship during a … Continue reading →
Just an FYI that I’ll probably only have time for baby recaps in the next two weeks since I’m vacation so don’t think I’ve dropped any dramas or have suddenly gone from love-to-hate. Prime Minister and I ended episode 4 on a high note so the wait has felt interminable for episode 5 to drop and now that it’s here … Continue reading →
The love triangle in Empress Ki is one open to lots of debate since there are plenty of fans of either Goryeo King Wang Yoo or Yuan Emperor Ta Hwan. But lately I’ve been thinking the object of the fight Seung Nyang is probably rolling her eyes at them if she wasn’t in such a position of danger and subservience … Continue reading →
I still remember New Year’s Day of 2013 which started off with a bomb blast of news in the Korean entertainment industry with the jawdropping and out-of-left-field coupling of A-list beauty and middling actress Kim Tae Hee with Hallyu superstar Rain. That led to a year’s worth of dating news and with the year about to wrap up in a … Continue reading →
One of the reasons I know Prime Minister and I has hooked me good and garnered my full attention is that I’m interested in all aspects of the OTP relationship development. Of course the skinship (and there must be copious amounts of it) is a top priority, but I’m also just as invested in them becoming a functional married couple … Continue reading →
I wish I could unsee this but it’s seared into my brain now that Lego Lee can clearly self-uglify to the point where I wanted to stage an intervention. This weekend SETTV held its own drama awards to fete its big ratings dramas and popular actors and actresses from 2013. Because In A Good Way just started airing the drama … Continue reading →
I haven’t seen either of these hot namjas in awhile, and it’s rather serendipitous that they both have a Rainie Yang shared connection and happened to show up the same brand event at different spots on the same week. I guess I’m trying to say – it’s totally not random at all to do a joint post on Joseph Chang … Continue reading →
Lego Lee has kinda got himself into a pickle while us fans of In A Good Way can start rubbing our hands together in glee. At last week’s SETTV celebration event, Lego vowed that when the drama ratings broke 3 he and other male lead Jay Shih would ride their old-school motorcycles used in the drama from the network headquarters … Continue reading →
I’m mentally ready for In Ho to step up in Prime Minister and I because the narrative needs it otherwise he’s as useful as window dressing, but I’m not emotionally ready for Yoon Si Yoon to either turn bad or become a totally morose and hopeless third wheel in the OTP relationship. This drama is moving so fast whatever is … Continue reading →
Rising C-actress Liu Shi Shi continues to go down the list of gorgeous and talented TW-actor co-stars like you wouldn’t believe. I love some more than others but she hasn’t hit upon a total fail yet. She continues that trend and now pulls in a J-actor to boot – up next for Shi Shi is co-starring with Joseph Chang (Drunken … Continue reading →
