I posted the six-minute longer trailer for Marry Me, Mary! (M3) yesterday, and today I’ve recapped/translated the segment. No, please don’t thank me. I needed to do it for myself, because I’ve been watching this trailer non-stop, only taking a break to watch and recap Playful Kiss episode 3. I’m just going to call dibs now, okay? The Geun-Geun couple … Continue reading →
Episode 3 of the Playful Kiss Youtube Special Edition saw the return of even more familiar faces. I noticed that episode 1 was all Ha Ni and Seung Jo, episode 2 brought back Eun Jo, Min Ah, and Joo Ri, and now episode 3 adds Mom and Dad to the fray. Thankfully, having a few more faces around doesn’t detract … Continue reading →
The long preview for Marry Me, Mary! was released during its press conference, and I have it for everyone hot off the press. All I can say is: it’s a win for me! I find it adorable without being overly cutesy, whimsical without being overly weird.
Continue reading →The Playful Kiss Youtube Special Edition has released episode-by-episode synopses. I’ll skip episodes 1 and 2 since it’s already aired. These written previews are quite detailed, and pretty much summarize each episode fully. I mean it, total spoilers, so read at your own risk. Nonetheless, we watch it for the cute, not for the unknown plot developments, right? A reminder … Continue reading →
You know, I could really get used to this. Spending ten minutes a day with Seung Jo and Ha Ni, amusing myself with their life, wishing somehow this could go on forever. Episode 2 of the Playful Kiss Youtube edition reminded me so much of the interlude from the drama where Ha Ni tries to become a better tennis player … Continue reading →
I give up. I give up ever trying to convince anyone that Jang Geun Seok is a man, and a perfectly good actor at that. If he persists in dressing like a tranny without any taste, then who am I to judge. Marry Me, Mary! or M3 held its press conference today for its upcoming premiere next Monday.
Continue reading →This is likely the last trailer for the drama formerly known as Mary Stayed Out All Night, which became Marry Me, Mary!, which I shall henceforth refer to as M3 (thanks for coining the acronym @hjkomo!). It pretty much has one major scene, and that’s it. But oh boy is it a doozy of a scene to just drop in a … Continue reading →
They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I say absence makes me a cranky and irascible koala. But I won’t hold it against Playful Kiss for taking a short break and returning to my embrace with the first of 7 new episodes (plus 2 BTS specials) broadcast solely on Youtube. All good things come to those who wait, … Continue reading →
Oh thank god! Athena released a few stills where its currrently filming in Hawaii, which presumably only involves Cha Seung Won and Su Ae based on the stills. I let out a huge sigh of relief – it’s so good to see my sexy ahjusshi Cha Seung Won back on his feet after a prolonged bout of illness. Not to … Continue reading →
I’ve got to hide the rest of the spoiler pictures from the upcoming Playful Kiss Youtube Special Edition until after the jump. It’s for your good, trust me. Don’t want to be causing heart palpitations. I’ve also provided the titles for the Youtube episodes (which makes it clear it’s actually 7 new episodes, plus 2 BTS specials, for a … Continue reading →
Another trailer for Mary-The-Stylistically-Challenged just arrived, and with it what appears to be a third song off the OST. I’m posting screenshots of the trailer because I think it’s the cutest yet, and with the most substantive clarification of the storyline.
Continue reading →Man, that boy is glowing with happiness. Is all I have to say. On a more substantive note, the teaser for the Playful Kiss Youtube episodes came out. Hope you are all subscribing to the channel! I’ve linked the teaser for you here. I can’t embed it so you can all click and watch. It’s soooo cute (I feel like … Continue reading →
Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min attended a press conference this morning for the upcoming Playful Kiss Youtube special edition. Looks like we are back in business, baby! The PK-business, that is. [Edit: I added even more pictures from the press conference, pictures are literally dropping from the sky like frogs did in Magnolia]
