Casting has quietly finished up for the main leads of upcoming pre-filmed K-drama Four Men which was announced as the next Park Hae Jin drama vehicle with a story that is the prequel of sorts to his last drama Man to Man. His leading lady is idol-actress Nana, getting her first upgrade to female lead status after a well-received supporting turn in the K-drama remake of The Good Wife. I’m a little sad to hear that Jo Hyun Jae has signed on to play the antagonist character much like he did in his last drama Yongpal, though he can be seen in a cameo role in Hospital Ship with scenes opposite Ha Ji Won. The PD for Four Men directed Yongpal hence the reunion and he was good as the baddie but I just like him too much to see him relegated to the villain roles. Rounding out the supporting roles will be Kwak Si Yang, Kyung Soo Jin, and idol newbie Ren from NU’EST. The drama is slated to start filming this fall with a scheduled airing in early 2018, currently still network undetermined though SBS is most likely to pick it up. Continue reading
