C-actor Xu Zheng Xi (Jeremy Tsui) posted on his Weibo a message saying farewell to his spot as an actor, thanking fans for their longtime support, and apologizing for creating any trouble. If he is indeed quitting acting, industry insiders are saying it’s due to a long building conflict with his agency. He is forced to take roles and dramas he doesn’t want to do and not allowed to act in roles he wants. His agency also won’t let him out of his contract. So leaving may be his only way out between a rock and a hard place. He has said that he will finish any prior commitments. He can currently be seen in a guest starring role in xianxia C-drama Burning Flames and as the male lead in recently aired period romance C-drama Yongan Dream.
