Resurgent Wallace Chung Holds Birthday Fan Meeting and Plans Album and Tour for 2016

It’s crazy to think that Wallace Chung is in his forties and has been in the entertainment industry for over twenty years, because the man is that enviable combination of barely aging and getting better with time. 2015 was an excellent year for his career thanks to super hit C-drama My Sunshine (You Are My Sunshine), which was basically 99% attributed to his performance as male lead He Yi Chen, and all Tang Yan as Zhao Mo Sheng had to do was not majorly suck.

Wallace does plenty of dramas but is also equally active in movies, and up next is the cross-border movie Bounty Hunters costarring Lee Min Ho and HK-actress Karena Ng. Last week he held a fan meeting-birthday party with fans and I’m loving the lighter and longer in front hair plus the giant smile plastered on his face. He revealed that next year he’ll comeback with a new album on go on a tour, which will clearly be mutually enriching for his pocketbook and his fans.

  1. Yep, I love this man since My Sunshine. I gotta give him major props for making that drama such a success. So far it has aired in mainland China, South Korean,Taiwan, and later Japan (2016).

I rather he stick to movies if there are no good drama. Because it’s painful to watch a long 40+ episode of one’s favorate actor in a bad drama.

  2. only watched him in my sunshine and loved him, he basicly carried the drama. need to watch his other drama too late to say i love you sometime, i heard it is good too.

  3. Dang! How old is he now? Some people just look forever young and he is among them. Wallace Chung actually debuted as a dancer in Hong Kong according to his interview. He’s one of the most productive C actors. But I only like his drama My Sunshine and nothing to rave about all the other projects.
