This is such a shocking news and honestly so worrying in these times. Character K-actor Moon Ji Yoon, who I recognize on sight if not by name, has passed away at the age of 36. His agency released the information explaining that he passed from acute sepsis brought on after complaining of a sore throat. Clearly it was an infection that spread and there is no news on what the source of the infection was, though news reports are stating that his funeral services may be adjusted in light of possible COVID-19 connection. Moon Ji Yoon was in recent years best known for playing the gruff sorta-antagonist in Cheese in the Trap, and he’s had plenty of supporting roles in dramas Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Awl, May Queen, Big, and many more.
