Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun Convey the Intensity in Cast Posters for Ruler: Master of the Mask

Teaser drama posters for a drama with the word mask in it can get away with not showing us any faces, but the ones for upcoming MBC sageuk Ruler: Master of the Mask did an nice job setting up the duality of the two male leads. One a crown prince and the other a beggar, and somehow their paths crosses and likely their identities as well. The character posters just arrived and convey a tense vibe with darker saturated colors and plenty of piercing eye stares.

Male lead Yoo Seung Ho is off the charts with the combination handsome looks and riveting connecting with the camera. Sames goes for his female lead Kim So Hyun, she’s really convinced me with her last few dramas that her age is not a hindrance to her ability to hold the fort as the female lead. Whether second male lead L can act alongside these two is yet to be seen but his comparable good looks to Yoo Seung Ho at least has the plausible onscreen doppleganger plot twist down.
