Jung Hae In Strolls Through a Spring Night into Han Ji Min’s Heart in First Drama Teaser
I don’t know why I assumed Han Ji Min and Jung Hae In were playing a couple going for a second chance at love in upcoming MBC romance drama Spring Night. Turns out she’s dating someone already and meeting single dad Jung Hae In is what prompt her to ditch the old for the new. PD Ahn Pan Seok loves motifs and visual cues so Spring Night is the dark combined with flowers under the dim lights, much like the rainy night that brings the leads under the umbrella of budding romance in his last drama Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food (Something in the Rain). I know some viewers may be tired of Jung Hae In but I’m not there yet, he’s always been a talent beyond just the boy next door looks and image, there is actual acting depth that will hopefully shine once again opposite a talented actress like Han Ji Min.

I liked the teasers for PNWBMF and then the drama aired so I’m not pinning any hopes on teasers. The premise is different than what I thought too, and the single dad thing isn’t something I see often in kdramas. Maybe I’ll give PD Ahn a chance to redeem himself after all.

A noona romance in the sense that in real life han ji min is older but in the story, their age is just the same so technically it is not a noona romance unlike PNWBMF. I am really looking forward to this. It has been a while since han ji min is in a melodrama plus i want to know if they will have chemistry. The teaser gives me a feeling of being in love vibe so i hope the writer improves. It seems there will be more conflicts here compared to PNWBMF. Can’t wait.

Aww. A single dad huh? What a fresh idea! I love it! Han Ji Min is on a roll right now, picking all the right projects with her return to dramaland. I’m so happy for her. I’ve always had a soft spot for her. From her days of being in the background playing as Song Hye Kyo’s younger counter part in “All In” to now, she has really established herself. I’m so proud of her! Can’t wait to see what this drama is all about. The first teaser gives me a lovely nostalgic feeling.
