The cross-over of Taiwanese and Korean stars is happening so much lately, and this week we have Jung Hae In over in Taiwan attending the Golden Bell Awards while Roy Qiu was in Korean at the Busan International Film Festival. Roy has been more prominent in movies the last three years, his hit movie Dear Ex last year got him lots of Best Actor nominations and this year he did horror police thriller The 9th Precinct this summer and next week has the directing comedy The Gangs, The Oscars, and The Walking Dead coming out. He was in Busan to promote that movie with his director and had a chance to snap picks with Yoona and Ryu Seung Ryong, stars of the top two grossing domestic Korean movies this year 2019. He also won the Face of Asia Award whatever that is, he’s definitely still a looker and hopefully keeps challenging himself with acting roles the way Chris Wu is slaying the television medium in Taiwan.
