Wow, talk about winner winner chicken dinner, there is literally nothing to say other than IMPRESSED with the assemble cast of this medical drama. PD Shin Won Ho of the three Answer Me dramas and also Prison Playbook (Wise Prison Life) has kicked off script reading for his 2020 next drama titled Wise Doctor Life. It’s centered around five doctors played by Jo Jung Seok, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Dae Myung, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Jung Kyung Ho, to which point anyone of these could headline a drama by him or herself so dang this is quite a coup. There’a also veteran Kim Hae Sook to look forward to along with plenty of famous face talented supporting character actors and actresses, leave it up to PD Shin to get an yes from likely anyone he approached. The script will reunite PD Shin with his longtime collaborator Lee Woo Jung who wrote all three Answer Me dramas.
I am having palpitations just reading the news. Since I have rewatched the 3 Reply series more times than any other. And loved Prison playbook.
And the casting is AMAZING.
Looks like an impressive cast. I hope the episodes won’t run for more than an hour each. It’s the only reason I haven’t watched PD Shin’s dramas besides Reply 1997 tbh.
