Lee Yoo Bi in Talks for 2021 Sageuk Drama Joseon Exorcist with Male Leads Jang Dong Yoon and Kam Woo Sung
There’s a whole lot of new casting news around upcoming SBS K-drama Joseon Exorcist which had earlier confirmed male leads Jang Dong Yoon and Kam Woo Sung, with Park Sung Hoon as the third male lead. Lee Yoo Bi has been offered the female lead and I love this casting which would be her drama return since A Poem a Day and will also reunite her with Jang Dong Yoon!!! Ahhhh, I shipped her with Dr. Ye of course but also loved her with Jang Dong Yoon’s Min Ho as well. Make this happen drama land! Also joining the cast is Jung Hye Sung as the second female lead and Kim Dong Joon to add to the pretty. The drama is from the PD of The Tale of Nokdu and Six Flying Dragons with the screenwriter of Dr. Prisoner. COULD THIS BE EVEN BETTER OMG! The story surrounds how the founding rulers of Joseon used demons and monsters to help them overthrow Goryeo and establish Joseon, but afterwards the undead return after one being exorcised and must now be dealt with again. I love the story but since it’s undead, Joseon, and also Lee Yoo Bi – all I ask is that it’s not a hot mess like Scholar Who Walks the Night ok tnxbai!
I really don’t mind koala is flooding her blog with JDY news, my latest bias ?
looking forward to the OCN search and this one. Good that he does not need to wait long for his next drama.
Wow, JDY is on a roll after his breakout role in Tale of Nokdu. Thank you Kdrama gods because PDs and writers take notice of him now.
I think these are promising casts, and the team behind definitely great if its anything by their track records (most notably, Six. Flying. Dragons. Never know that politically heavy plot with loong episodes could be so riveting from the get go till the end!). JDY is solid actor, like him ever since Solomon’s Perjury and School 2017) and LYB definitely can act. Hope it be good!
After Into the Ring, I need Park Sung Hoon to be a lead! He was so good in this role!
A Poem a Day’s writer messed up a lot the story. JDY was the male lead for me, his character was way more interesting tha LJH and the end was bad. So I’m happy that he’s given a second chance with LYB because they were super cute.
I didn’t finish Doctor Prisoner, the story was really far-fetched and this writer wrote the bad part of Inspiring Generation.
I love her and I shipped her with JDY in A poem a day. It will be so good to see them together again, looking forward to this 😀
The PD directed The Nokdu Flower (SBS), which is different from The tale of Nokdu (KBS)
