The arrival of 2021 means so much because everyone I know can’t wait for the dumpster fire of 2020 to end, however symbolically. But it’s unclear what the new year holds and in the fashion world it’s that odd uncertainty as to whether people even embrace high couture, jewelry, and accessories in a world heading in the direction of prolonged work from home. Like, I haven’t worn my massive collection of high heels in 9 months and it’s collecting dust but who the heck needs to put on a suit and heels just to feel put together when it’s moving from bed to desk every day. With that said, this W Korea high fashion pictorial with top actress Song Hye Kyo does make a case for dressing up even in one’s own bedroom confines. The ever beautiful and age-defying SHK! Love the shoulder skimming hair style. Am not a fan of the “zombie” eye look though. Hope that’s not the upcoming trend. Eeek!
I like the Dior Black & White Dress, its so chic as well as the Valentino mules and sandals, they look comfortable. I’m not feeling the photo lightning, concept and make-up of SHK in this pictorial.
