Episode 11 of Vincenzo seriously flew by it was so good. I was laughing even more than normal for this drama as this episode was lighter on the fighting Babel action and spent the time wisely moving other threads along. Everyone now knows Vincenzo was in the Italian mafia as a top consigliere, or corn salad to keep along with the joke nicknames. Instead of shunning him or being scared, the Geumga Plaza residents embrace him even more for his hard hitting ability AND tell him about the gold to enlist his help. The curse words that go flying as Vincenzo is told about plans for his own gold retrieval are epic. Undercover NIS agent An gets his episode to shine after Vincenzo is arrested, riling up his boss to override the prosecutor’s office and got his slow mo walk with his own minions to retrieve Vincenzo. He’s now part of the inner gang to take down Babel and got to “hug” his idol as well. That man is the world’s cutest fanboy. Joon Woo escapes being discovered as the real Babel Chairman at the beginning of the episode but the truth comes out by the end, courtesy of intelligence gathering in Italy and South Korea plus a game of Russian Roulette. He’s not scared though, a total psychopath through and through. The stakes are raised yet again but I’m sure there are still many more moveable pieces in this Jenga tower before it all comes falling down.
