A new find for me in 2021 on the male actor front now includes Bae In Hyuk, I really really liked him in recently concluded rom-com My Roommate is a Gumiho. He made a one-dimensional second male lead character with a crush on the female lead into someone sincere and memorable. If Jang Ki Yong‘s sweet as pie gumiho who wants to be a human boy wasn’t around, I’d totally ship Bae In Hyuk with the female lead Lee Dam. But alas he’s got to put in his time being the perpetually losing out on the girl second male lead, and most actors do that before getting their spotlight. Bae In Hyuk was also in the KBS college drama From a Distance, Green Spring, and reportedly he also did a good job. I’m keeping my eyes out for his next drama Why Oh Soo Jae where he recently shared in the post Gumiho interview circuit that he jumped at the chance to do that drama even as the second male lead because it was opposite respected sunbae Seo Hyun Jin after he was so impressed by watching her drama Another Oh Hae Young. I definitely think Bae In Hyuk is going places and I hope he continues to pick good roles as he ventures up the actor food chain.

I agree if the Gumiho wasn’t JKY I would have chosen him too.
I like him in guminho. He make his character have major development and make it cute. And beside he is cute ?
I think he’s a good actor. I prefered him than the leads in these 2 dramas. In Green Spring, his character was more interesting and he acted well, when the main actor couldn’t balance the joy and the sadness of his character. I think Japanese actors are good for this kind of characters.
In Gumiho, he was the typical second lead but he did great.
