It’s a bad then good news in one bundle about K-actress Park So Dam this week. Her agency revealed that the star is taking a work hiatus after recovering from thyroid cancer surgery. She was diagnosed recently after undergoing a routine medical exam and since it’s a less aggressive type of cancer and it was caught early she was able to quickly get surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. I’m shocked to hear her cancer diagnosis but relieved it was able to get treated and expect her to be fully healthy in the near future and beyond.
