Kim Nam Gil Grows Out His Hair and Expands His Ability to Criminal Profiling in First Posters and Stills for SBS Fri-Sat Drama Through the Darkness — 10 Comments

  1. OK I think he’s gorgeous without facial hair and I love longer hair on guys so my eyes are blessed right now. Anyway, looking forward to this. Thanks for all the kdrama updates Ms. Koala.

Also, I hope in the future, we can also get more Asian dramas with women and female leads playing the “genius” .

  2. Kim Nam Gil performs better in light hearted comedy roles (Live Up To Your Name, Fiery Priest).

I don quite like him in serious roles because he tends to be OTT with the intensity and went all out broody and depressed as what he did in Shark, Bad Guys and The Shameless. He used to have that difficulties to exercise restraint to that intensity. But maybe after challenging himself over these years, he perhaps will fare better in serious role this time around.

  3. He really looks good in these pictures!

The story with the very serious profiler catching a serial killer doesn’t sound original but there Kim Nam Gil!

  4. He looks so good! I think he also lost some weight – that was not necessary but he looks a little different, I like it.
I think he does serious the best but maybe seguk serious? I miss him in seguk. Or he should do a proper hardcore old school makjang with lots of dignified crying.

    • Also, kudos for having quote older unquote leading lady that is not 20 years old adult child and ALSO is not an expressionless idol that I can’t say can’t act because stans will start screaming at me and give me examples of other rubbish actresses that are even worse to make themselves feel better.

I feel so refreshed after ranting, thanks for the opportunity 🙂
