I don’t regularly cover star birthdays and usually its when there is something else to add. Today is being called Twos-day for being a Tuesday that happens to fall on the perfect date of 2-22-2022 which is both a palindrome and also able to be read upside down as well. It also happens to be K-actor Nam Joo Hyuk‘s birthday and he’s turning 28 years old (30 in Korean age). Last year was a quite year for him after Start-up in 2020 but this year he’s celebrating a birthday during a great career moment starring in tvN drama Twenty Five, Twenty One which is currently getting high 8% ratings through episode 4. Even better is the really positive feedback from K-netizens, his performance is being called natural, boy-next-door, emotionally nuanced, and the calm anchor to Kim Tae Ri‘s more animated female lead. I’m so happy for him, he’s always been really lovely for me to watch even if he’s not the strongest actor earlier during his career but I’ve seen such a marked improvement it’s like each time he stars with a strong female lead he absorbs and retains another step up in acting experience.

he’s come such a long way. i’m really happy for him, and hope he continues to do well. i’m guessing this will be his last project before enlistment so hope twenty five twenty one continues to do well and allows him to show off his acting prowess.
I always watch whatever it is he’s on, even that disaster of Habaek and Nurse Files. He is sooo hot, tall woth Abs and looks innocent but sexual. Would fly straight to Korea if he was on Tinder. One night with him talking and stuff would really sing my praise to lord Habaekkkkk! Ugh!

yeah, not surprising bc he has a good head on his shoulder and is dedicated to improving his craft. if he keeps on this trajectory, i anticipate a very bright future for him.
