I’m sure this drama will get a pithy English title when it airs but for now it’s got a mouthful Korean title of Ildangbaek Butler, which translates to a Butler Who Does a 100 Tasks. Said Butler is in talks with Yoon Do Joon for the role as a guy who does any task for 100 won and calls himself a butler in that he serves his employer. He’s going to end up working for the female lead who is a determined and kindhearted funeral home director which is in talks with Hyeri for the role. She can hear the final wishes of dead people upon touch and wishes to grant their wish. Looks like a match made in heaven that she gets a can-do butler in her employ. The granting the wish of the deceased sounds like Hotel Del Luna and that drama made me cry in some of those sequences so I’m looking forward to both this drama’s take on it as well as a fresh pairing with two 2nd gen OG idols turned actors.
