Big Budget K-drama Curtain Call Finalizes Main Cast of Ha Ji Won, Kang Ha Neul, Kwon Sang Woo, and Sung Dong Il

So there has been lots of moving parts with this drama but now it looks ready to start filming soon. Originally called Tree Dies While Standing and now the title is Curtain Call, last year it was in talks with Son Ye Jin, Kang Ha Neul, and Jung Hae In. The two guys stayed on but she didn’t confirm and the leading lady is now Ha Ji Won. Then Jung Hae In appears to have dropped because Kwon Sang Woo recently confirmed and from the character descriptions is playing the second male lead role. Veterans onboard include Youn Yuh Jung, Sung Dong Il, and Ji Seung Hyun. Now some younger names have also been added with Jung Ji So and Seohyun. This is shaping up to be huge production so I hope the story is good!

YYJ has not officially confirmed yet though. Not sure if she will be in it or not. But looking forward to see HJW and KHN all the same!
Love KHN in Angel Eyes and Camellia and HJW in Damo, SG, K2H and EK. Never in my wildest kdrama dreams did I think this combo would happen. I’ll take it.
On a side note still waiting for a KHN Nam Jihyun reunion as adult actors. They deserve one like YJG and MGY.
I’m not sure Ha Ji Won and KHN will have chemistry. Love Secret Garden, and I really hope the drama does well. She’s been in need of a hit for a while now. Empress Ki is almost 10 years old!
