This totally seems like a drama vehicle geared towards promoting K-actor Kim Min Kyu and I have no problem with that. I do worry its on the lightweight side and perhaps he needs more serious heavier works to cement his acting skills before enlisting for the military. But then again, well done comedy is absolutely a showcase for acting and this one sounds like Vampire Idol without the vampire. The K-drama Pontifex Lembrary (literal title) has finalized the cast, adapted from the web novel Holy Idol. Kim Min Kyu plays the human body with the soul of a divine being who ends up having to succeed in the real world as a member of an idol group that’s third rate at best. Joining him in the drama are Lee Jang Woo, Ko Bo Gyeol, and Ye Ji Won, with no word on the airing channel but the earliest this will arrive is the first half of 2023.

I think Kim Min Gue is better in serious role.
Pity he has to enlist after "Holy Idol".
