C-drama The Legend of Shen Li Reuniting Zhao Li Ying and Lin Geng Xin Hits 1 Million Reservations on Tecent Streaming
The It’s been six years since hit drama Princess Agents and this year 2023 will see the reunion of the two leads in the fantasy period drama The Legend of Shen Li (Yu Feng Xing or Accompanying the Phoenix). The drama finished filming towards the end of last year and no word on airing date but the early interest is there as this week it hit 1 million reservations on Tencent. The production released some lovely new pictures that continue to promote the painting-like aura of this drama, with Zhao Li Ying and Lin Geng Xin always seeming like they walked out of a historical tableau. The production also released a BTS video commemorating the wrap of filming showcases the visuals of the cast and the more restrained approach that is less fantasy and more poetry.

That miserable thing The Longest Promise passed 4 months ago but Tencent is keeping it locked.
It this comes out before XZ’s TLP then yeah…something’s up with delaying his drama air dates.
There is something weird about that drama and Tencent.
Relatively recently one of TC bosses talked about the corruption in Tencent Video and the need to stamp it out. I wonder if TLP didn’t fall thanks to some of that, it wouldn’t surprise me considering how far certain elements go in trying to suppress XZ.
