• My god they really ARE looking dull... and the photoshop has totally ruined the expressions, I hope the drama is better than how it looks
  On a side note I can't believe people are actually complaining about the costumes in tteotm...may be they like this one then! I get it if they don't like the drama or even hate it, but the costumes are truly beautiful! Since when it became so hard to appreciate beauty?!

  • Sorry but the costume in TTEOTM really looks gaudy and cheap in some. Some of Bailu costume is just straight up what you can find in taobao. LYX costume are heavily ornated to compensate his smaller physique I guess. You don't have to chose between exaggerated costume and this kind of plain costume. If godly being drama I can think of Ashes of Love that is not overly exaggerated.

    • Agree to disagree I guess. As a designer myself I find them a work of art. (I have favorites and not so among them but overall a revelation in xianxia) And the costumes in aol while beautiful but almost all pale colored and boring to my eyes for a 60 episode drama. In this one, u can actually see details of bright and contrasting colors on the dresses even in pale color and trademark design of immortal sects.

• They mostly look fine to me apart from the pointy shoulder pads and the guy in gold who looks like a villain from the power rangers. In Till the end of the moon there are so many gaudy costume changes the Devil god must have hired a army of dress makers and opened a fashion house to make ancient haute couture.

• Haahahah, this straight poster from when cdrama starting out vibe. Hopefully the next sets are better.

• I'm confused who's Mire and it's actually Merxat. And Chen Qiao'en? Damn, I hope it's Photoshop otherwise how come her face change so much? She's unrecognizable in that poster. I wouldn't know if I didn't read the name.

• looking forward to this drama very much, do not care about the posters, i have seen some of the behind the scenes, looks promising!

• The costumes in TTEOTM is beautiful! Sometimes FL's headpiece is a bit too much to my liking, but I still appreciate the effort that they put into the costumes. On the other hand, the poster and clothes for WGJ to everyone's expression looks dull and boring to me although I'm fond of both leads.

• I have no idea why the heck Allen Ren is so popular in C-ent. I tried to check out his dramas but ended up dropping them all because they are boring acting-wise. Allen Ren has been over-filmed. How many dramas of his had been premiered within the past few years? Perhaps fans never get tired of his face. Not me though.

  • Agree. I also add Xiao Zhan to the list. While he is a good-looking man (you have plastic surgeons to thank), his acting is decent. He's not the great actor I've heard of, but you can understand that fans will always put their favorites on a pedestal. In The Untamed he stood out because Wang Yibo's acting was bad. It was all about contrast.

    • Oh well, it's your freedom to dislike XZ. But a minimum of tens of thousand Chinese fans plus tons of international fans are mesmerized by him as WWX in the Untamed. Your opinion doesn't matter. He looks naturally charming even if you're so desperate to spread rumor that he's gone under knives. Keyboard warriors' opinions really work nothing to celebrities' success. Have fun! LOL

  • But you must understand that popularity is not a factor related to talent. Audiences don't necessarily focus on skills. If that were the case, we would not have models reciting dialogues. If so, Zhou Dongyu, who is a terrific actress, would not be attacked for not being conventionally pretty. Beauty sells.

    • At least I didn't see the same actor XZ in different dramas of his works. XZ has gifts to mold himself into different roles. On the contrary, Allen Ren yelled out loud this was me acting in each of his dramas I've watched. He just looked and felt all the same in all his roles. He's so boring to watch. LOL

  • Same! Have not been able to finish a single one of his dramas, despite starting many. He just doesn't do it for me looks-wise and his acting is nothing out of the ordinary either despite his fans claiming he's some prodigy at acting or something.

• I’m glad Li Yi Tong got away from this. I love Xing Fei but most of her roles tend to be not that memorable. I hope she’ll be in a good wuxia in the future.

• Well they have just began...hopefully they come up with a better batch next time! Btw I love the costumes in till the end of the moon. I wish to see more of that effort from the costumes department in other dramas as well.
