UEE Looks Focused and Radiating Healthy Energy in First Look at KBS Weekend Drama Self-Reliance of Hyo Sim’s Family
I’ve been checked out of weekend K-dramas for years but still feel the need to follow along with what’s next because you never know when one will toddle along and hook me. Currently airing KBS weekend drama The Real Has Come has been really mediocre from all accounts but the next one has one secret weekend weapon in female lead UEE. Called Self-Reliance of Hyo Sim’s Family, it stars UEE in a time slot that she keeps picking winners so imma bet on her. This is a female centric drama where she plays a family breadwinner as a successful trainer who starts to try and live her own life and make her family self-reliant finally. I love how laser focused she looks in these gym stills not to mention radiating her earlier career healthy vibes.
Last year, i watched “once in a lifetime Kilimanjaro” and i was happy to see the healthy and radiant UEE of her younger days . At some point she was so skinny and pale that i thought she was ill . Her best projects were weekend dramas . “The real has come” isn’t interesting and it wasn’t well casted , i didn’t click with 3 siblings , so hope this one will be good enough . Weekend dramas for me are an old tradition .
ohh…the show has been sub? where do you watch it? last time i tried to watch it but cant find sub everywhere
The Real Has Come started well looking at it from a weekend dram quality wise but then it just dropped drastically writing wise that it became ridiculous and the acting isn’t particularly great to carry it through.
Weekend dramas have been a miss since Once Again and it’s not getting better to be honest. I do like UEE though and she seems to have a knack for these weekend dramas so fingers crossed this might turn out good but not too much expectations.
@Salmos agree with you, we didn’t have an entertaining weekend drama since a long time, i think that the one i really enjoyed to watch was ” What happened to my family” in 2014 . Already a decade !!! the Real Has come started as a comedy genre but it changed quickly and went downhill .
So glad to see her in a healthier frame. At one point she looked stressed out and stick thin. Shes actually really good in family dramas so this one should b another good one
