I’ve only ever watched Zhang Ling He in period dramas so this will be a refreshing change of onscreen image for him. He’s signed on for the modern romance C-drama adapted from the novel by writer Sheng Li titled Loving You is the Best Thing I Ever Did. The drama will start filming shortly and the female lead is Xu Ruo Han, who is best known for the C-drama The Forbidden Flower with Jerry Yan that aired last year in 2023 and was quite popular. This novel IP was actually in drama adaptation discussion and prep a few years ago to star Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang and you can guess how that imploded with the her scandal. I like seeing these two fresher faces paired together for this and hopefully it’s a sweet and romantic story.

I don’t recall where you asked me what a dumb “DI” was all about. But I just read the responses to you from those dunces regarding XZ and YZ. They are just idiocy overload. LOL. Fortunately XZ has a huge fan base that many fans are sane ppl. There are always bad apples in a basket. Please just treat those dunces like rotten apples.
I did not know what they were really talking about… I just hatred others using Xiao Zhan name to taste water with different female idols without concrete dramas. Thus I made a comment. I guess with a big Brand like XZ, many would make use of his brand sneakily.
Anyway, I moved on finally.
There is something about Zhang Linghe that sometimes makes me think that he’s impossibly handsome. And then, other times, he looks to me like just a cute tall boy. I find that very intriguing. Anyway, it will be interesting to watch him in a modern drama, just to be able to discern if he’s really incredibly handsome or it’s the wig+make up of costume dramas.
I don’t know the FL, as I haven’t watched Forbidden Flower (I tend to find dramas where the leads have such a big age gap kind of icky).
OMG!!! I am watching a HK/Chian variety show 无限超越班 season 2 just 1 hrs ago. I do not know Xu Ruo Han from before…but she is a participate in the acting lesson program. I have to say for her age and limited experienced. She is quite a natural. She looks good, she is relaxed in her roles and she is believable. Very impressive young actress. I really look forward to all her future projects.
Zhang Ling He may have more idol dramas under his belt but he does not have her talent. Looking for to this pair.
Yes, I am watching the variety show and loved her natural acting, sweet, and charm!!!!!!!! I already felt in love w/ her when she played supporting role for he luo luo. She is very talented in drawing too 🙂 I am trying to find more about her. I cant wait to watch her first rumored drama.
@yesyes, The project produced by Jackie Chan. I wonder why was it still not aired? It is a movie, I believe. I want to watch it too!
She is a natural actress…she reacts and embrace her role very quickly.

I thk being in a modern drama is a good choice for ZLH. XRH has a interesting fresh face so Im kinda liking this pairing. This novel is kind of a soft, warm, kinda slow burn romance story. But the ML is among the top fav MLs in novels cause of his gentle, caring and warm personality. Hope the drama adaptation is good.
