So one week is the gap with Joy of Life 2 before another big C-drama arrives. iQiyi has confirmed the release of Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact (the Yue Hong chapter) for this week on May 23rd. Starring Yang Mi and Gong Jun along with a massive cast of supporting stars and guest starring appearances, this is going to get a lot of viewers for sure but whether the viewers stick around because the drama is good or just for bored watching is to be seen. I don’t think it looks that good TBH but I plan to watch and hope for the best. Check out the latest posters and previews and decide for yourself.
Trailer for Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…
Well this is an interesting pairing, setting aside the age difference at least I can…
I swear I just wrote about Song Joong Ki having his first baby and then…
At the end of the day, the core of any good drama remains the Story,…
If I didn't know this drama was a romance set in space and done K-drama…
If Wang Xing Yue ever needs extra money he can be a professional dubber for…

iQiyi can't afford for it to flop so it will be a self-produced hit, as these things go these days. 10k heat, watered views etc. There's much more opportunity for the other two parts so they will lift this one to get to those and not mess up.
I think it's funny. Audience not needed these days lol
Yang mi is too old for this kind of drama, she should stick to modern fare
What does age have to do with acting a role? if she can do it than it's a success obviously she was chosen for role because it's within her capacity as a spectator only who are you to judge
Why do they need so many people on the poster? Why can’t they just focus on Yang Mi and Gong Jun?
Anyways, out of the 3, even though this won’t fare as well as Cheng Yi & Li Yitong’s, it still won’t be last place. And that’s good enough. After all it’s hard to beat Cheng Yi’s liuliang.
Yang mi have been bash consistently for days,I guess they don't want to focus the audience attention on her.
Looking forward to seeing Chen Yao and Guo Xiaoting!
I think Yang Mi looks good for her age. I just hope they don't overdo the filters. I liked Shenli but the skin smoothing was so weird and inconsistent. Yang Mi does well when she has a strong ML, the chemistry is essential in this genre. I absolutely loved Ten Miles, liked Fu Yao, but dropped Novoland Pear Eclipse.
Is Gong Jun considered a strong ML then?
Also why do people keep bringing up Yang Mi’s age? She’s only 37 ffs
Everyone talks about how she doesnt fit this genre anymore, but i still think the 85 flowers can and should do this type of role. The C industry should stop with the filters and embrace their age. These immortals and gods are supposed to thoysands years old,so it doesnt make sense to me the young actors playing them.
I absolutely loved Gong Jun in Word of Honor,i found him super charismatic and i still have hope he can deliver with the right script.
Who’s that hot guy paired with Zhu Xu Dan? He looks like Joseph Zeng’s brother
Yang Shi Ze. He acted alongside Bi Wen Jun and Li Yi Tong in 'Warm on a Cold Night'
Am I the only one appalled by all the comments going “yang mi looks good for her age”? I just can’t see that as a compliment at all.
Like how do you expect a 37 year old woman to look? She’s 37, not 57.
Like do people expect her to be full of wrinkles and sagging skin or something? I personally find women in their 30s to be the most charming.
We're unfortunately living in an ageist society, what do you expect? Yang Mi is stunning.Period.
Manage expectations and hope for the best for them.
Not holding out much hope for Gong Jun, and Yang Mi can be hit or miss.
Surprise me, please. Please.
Smart that they steared away from Yang Mi/Gong Jun in the latest trailer and made it appear more like an ensemble cast lol.
The guy in white and the girl in dark blue no idea who they are, look quite fun in the trailer.
There are so many couples wonder how they will make each relationship distinct.
