SBS Fri-Sat Night Police Drama Connection Continuously Rises in Ratings Close to 10% by Episode 6 with Rave Reviews for Ji Sung’s Acting

We finally see the first K-drama in June start picking up momentum and it’s SBS Fri-Sat police thriller Connection starring Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do. The first episode got 5.7% ratings and has only gone up each episode until the most recent episode 6 with 9.4%. It’s on track to break double digits which would be fantastic as the drama has very strong reviews primarily for Ji Sung’s acting and then comes the story and directing. I love finding a reason to check out a drama thanks to good word of mouth and positive ratings momentum.

  1. Nothing extaordinary about the story but Ji sung is great as always . Ji sung and his wife are a great pairing . Both take turns to film their project and to take care of their family successfully !

    • And they both choose well. Lee Bo Young was outstanding in Agency. I’m looking forward to watching Connection and to seeing what she picks when it’s her turn next 🙂

    • He always aces his roles . He should be popular as Gong Yoo,Hyun Bin , … Ji Sung and Nam Goong Min are from a generation of great actors ( late Lee Sun Gyun, Late Park Yong Ha ,…)

  2. Ji Sung never fails to deliver. I don’t even have to watch the drama to know that he will exceed expectations with stellar acting. For some reason though he never really gets that much hype for his dramas.

    • Maybe he is not that young looking or he doesn’t belong to the idol actor category that needs hype for their career.

  3. The plot isn’t my cup of tea so I am not watching but the cast is top-notch and Ji Sung is always very good regardless of the material.
