  2. There is loads of fandom’s drama around it all.
ZLH’s fans were and they’re still doing loads of ruckus trying to make ZLH’s team to abandon this project all over Weibo. They do not like neither approve the people involved in this project.
The contracts are signed and things are going forward outside the papers so their anger will maybe turn into boycott. Let’s see.

    • I hope not. I think they will do okay together. These fandoms are just too much. If they signed it with no doubts or arguments they should support them. They clearly want to do the drama.

    • Because its a female centric drama and Zhang Linghe has starred in many of them. His fans want him to take on male centric dramas now that he supposedly is more popular.

      • Thanks for explaining.

I will never understand why some fans act like they are the managers of their favorite celebrities. Surely, he knows what he’s doing. If they don’t like a project he does, they can just… not watch it.

      • His acting isn’t strong enough to be male centric. They are asking for trouble if they push him out of his comfort zone.

  3. Lol this is what happens when fans think their idol is some mega star and he really really isn’t. He has crazy connections but that’s all.

She is also way better an actress than he is an actor. There is nothing wrong about this conbo.

  4. The first billing thing is too much drama nowadays and ridiculous. Most drama out there now days are female lead focused and novel adapted. It’s like if you make a drama based on Mulan and have the title credit mainly to the main actor instead of the actress playing Mulan. If you have a female centered storyline and they cast a first billing actor doesn’t it just change the storyline to focus more on the actor? It’s terrible when that happens and people complain more about the story afterwards.

If they love being so dramatic, why just not invest their money into buying worthy of their idol script books and do their own casting. These fans really give them an inch and they want a mile. Production companies shouldn’t rely on fan service for promotion. If you do a good job and promote well enough, you will have traffic. Now days it seems like the fans are more important than the actor/actress. If you keep boycotting, they gonna be ice shelved and before you know it the fanclub starts falling apart and people jump onto new talents.

  5. I am tired of these emotion diluted silly dramas. The last one I liked was LYF S1 and then S2 came out to be lousy. Had high hopes for Go East, but dropped it after 12 episodes. Waiting for Guardians of the Dafeng and I am NoBody S2. Watching Wang Yibo survival documentaries are better than this pile of lack lustre dramas. I enjoyed the snow mountain climb last week, this week its cave crevice climb. The kid is crazy with all the things he is undergoing. Looking forward to it
