  2. I have been so looking forward to this project but I am a bit disappointed there is going to be a love triangle involving the 1st and 2nd female leads. Don’t really want to see these hardworking women jeopardising their friendship over a man on top of all the other disrespect and sexism they have to endure as women in the 1980s.

Not going to lie though, I am so curious who the male lead will be. Since the CWS rumour got shut down immediately I feel like the ML is already cast but they are still negotiating or waiting to announce.

Regarding SYE, I’ve said it before but it just that takes one role in the right drama to turn the trajectory around for an actress or actor. SYE used to be known for breaking down crying on camera because all her dramas were failures. Her career lost momentum but since she got cast in a supporting role in The Glory it has revitalised her career. She has endorsements, nominations, been cast in Jeong Nyeon with Kim Tae Ri and now this anticipated drama.

  3. Ugh, I hate love triangles, especially between two friends. The only two times it worked for me was chinese movie Soulmate and american movie Very good girls. But it was a movies, not sure I can watch 12-16 episodes about two besties entanglement with one person. And this man need to be extremely fine, at least inside, for me to believe he worths it. And better if in the end one of them won’t end up with broken heart.
